Including last-minute holiday sales at Abercrombie & Fitch, Bon-Ton department store, Brookstone, and Toys R Us. Plus a new not-to-be-missed freebie from the geniuses at Google.

I’ve subscribed to the promotional emails of 500 companies and brands so that you don’t have to. I sift through 1,000 deal-touting emails every week. Most are worthless, but a handful offer valuable coupons, promo codes, sales, and freebies – which I collect and organize for you here.

For the most part, deals continue to lag as the holidays near. If you still have gift shopping left to do, be sure to check out 6 Quick Tips for Last-Minute Shoppers. And remember that if you order online, you may not have to pay extra for expedited shipping – check shipping cut-off deadlines.

Free personalized call from Santa

Google has created a new free website, SendACallFromSanta.com, which allows you to send someone else a personalized phone call from Santa – whether the recipient celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or La Navidad. It’s hilarious and adorable. After you answer several questions, you’ll be able to hear the message yourself before you send it to the recipient, so play around with the options. Just don’t give your exact date of birth at the beginning; I don’t know why they ask that question (it doesn’t affect the content of Santa’s call), and I never advise sharing your DOB with the Internet for security reasons.
