Holiday shopping season is in full swing, and many of the best deals this week come in the “spend to save” variety – buy something at full price, get the discount on the second. Some of those just aren’t worth the bother unless you’re buying in bulk anyway. We did spot decent deals for the kids, winter wear, sleepwear and boots, though.
Freebies first: This week you can get free “natural cut fries” from Wendy’s. You’ll have to install a coupon printer first, which is safe but a little annoying, and limits you to one coupon per computer.
Still shopping for the kids? Toys ‘R’ Us is counting on it with a huge sale. It’s buy one, get one half off on all video games and accessories, Disney and educational DVDs, and a wide variety of toys.
If you’re feeling chilly, retailers won’t leave you out in the cold this week. Old Navy has a buy one get one free deal on sweaters with coupon code ONSWEATER. This works on sale items too, and you get free shipping on orders over $50.
Kohl’s is having a big sale on women’s boots with some up to 70 percent off. You can take an extra 20 percent off with coupon code NEXTORDER20 and pick up free shipping with FREECCDEC.
One more interesting item spotted on Amazon.com: How about some cheap Starbucks coffee? You can get 22 oz. of Starbucks Natural Fusions vanilla coffee for $8 with coupon code FUSIONC5. That’s less than half the normal price.
At Walmart, you can once again get a $20 printer/scanner/copier, with free shipping to boot.
If you’re an iTunes lover, Target can save you 20 percent on your music this week. In stores and online, they have a $60 gift card pack for only $48. They’re in $15 denominations, so you can divvy these up for stocking stuffers or keep them for yourself. The deal may vary in stores, depending on what they have in stock.
Lastly, you can take $10 off $50 with this JC Penney coupon. It expires Dec. 10, though, and has several exceptions.
That’s it for this week. Share your best deals in the comments and check back next time.
