Another Christmas has come and gone, and we hope Santa was good to you! But if he forgot a few things you wanted, we’ve got some deals for you on electronics, clothing, and books.
And if you did get everything you wanted, remember: You only have 363 days to shop until next Christmas.
Freebies are scarce this week, but you can download a dozen free songs on iTunes courtesy of National Public Radio. The mix is what they consider the best new music of 2010.
Home Depot has lighting on sale for up to 75 percent off. There’s lots of accent and outdoor lighting, but also ceiling fans, lamps, and bathroom fixtures.
At Amazon.com you can get a $450 Invicta watch for only $48. It seems like they always have a watch on sale, but this one looks pretty decent. Amazon.com also has a selection of women’s boots and handbags up to 70 percent off. There is some high-end stuff on there – use the sidebar to remove the $200 price cap we put on the listings to see the rest.
Over at JC Penney, you can save $10 off $50 with this coupon. There are some exceptions, but it’s good through Jan. 10.
As expected, there are quite a few year-end clearance sales going on. Best Buy’s two-day sale ends today, but take a quick look – you can easily save $100 on a camcorder, camera, or home theater equipment.
Computer geeks will be happy to know that Geeks.com is running a liquidation sale with prices up to 90 percent off a wide range of computer parts, although the average discounts seem to range from 5 to 25 percent. But you can get this 120 GB laptop hard drive for $31 instead of around $50, for example, so there are some good deals in there.
Newegg is likewise having an After Christmas sale, with widespread discounts through Jan. 1. This 24-inch Samsung LCD monitor for $200 is a good deal at $80 off. You have to be a subscriber to use the coupon codes, but it’s free and only takes a minute to sign up.
The Barnes and Noble After Holiday Sale has tons of books from 50 to 75 percent off list prices, and calendars for next year are half off, too. And if you sign up for a free two-month membership, you can get free express shipping.
Bath and Body Works is having a “Hello, Yellow!” Sale – whatever that means. We do know it means 50 percent off bathrobes and candles, $3 lotions and oils, and apparently a lot of other things. There’s also a $10 off $30 coupon code good through Jan. 8: the coupon code is PERFECTGIFT10.
Finally, Victoria’s Secret is running its semiannual sale, which means bras and panties are up to half off, and clearance items can go as low as $4. Get free shipping on orders over $100 with SHIP100VS.
That’s all for deals this week — see you next year. As always, share your best savings this week in the comments.
