Monday’s Deals: Clothing, Shoes, Accessories, and Free Post Cards

By on

If you purged your closet while spring cleaning, now’s a great time to restock it. Clothing for the whole family is on sale at department stores in all price ranges.

Clothing, shoes, and accessories

Lord & Taylor department stores are practically giving away their clearance clothing, shoes, and handbags. These items are 40-60 percent off right now [expiration unknown]. Plus, you can take an extra 15-20 percent off anything – including clearance items – in stores (with printable coupon) and online (with coupon code SALE) [expires 6/7].

At Bon-Ton department stores, take an extra 10-20 percent off sale-price items in stores (printable coupon) and online (coupon code JNSUMMR11) [6/8]. And their shipping is always free on $99-plus orders.

At JCPenney, take an extra 15 percent off any online order or an extra 20 percent off any $100-plus online order (promo code YOURSALE) [6/7]. That includes full-price, sale-price, and clearance items.

At Payless, take an extra 20 percent off your entire purchase in stores (printable coupon) and online (coupon code 46674) [6/8].

Health and beauty

If you were planning to give dad cologne for Father’s Day – which is June 19, by the way – consider buying it from Ulta Beauty. If you spend $30-plus on fragrances, they’ll throw in a free oversized insulated cooler or a free insulated wine and cheese cooler, both available in two different colors [expiration unknown]. You’ll be prompted to pick a cooler type and color after putting enough fragrances in your e-basket. If your order is $50-plus, shipping is free – plus three free samples, which you’ll get to choose at check-out.

Food

Save $2 on Jamba Juice’s new fruit refresher drinks (with printable coupon) [expires 6/8].

Enjoy a free appetizer or dessert at Chili’s with purchase of at least one entree (printable coupon) [6/6 only].

Department stores

Note that the coupon codes and promos codes for the three department stores mentioned above are good store- and site-wide, which means you can use them to save on any applicable items – whether it’s clothing, bedding, toys, or anything else they carry. Also, Lord & Taylor’s clearance includes housewares in addition to clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Photos and post cards

Vistaprint.com, the company known for dirt-cheap business cards, is giving away 100 free customized postcards – normally worth $25 – for free [expires 6/8]. You pay for only shipping and any extra bells and whistles you want included.

At Walgreens.com, 4×6, 5×7, and 8×10 photos are 40 percent off [6/8]. If you don’t want to pick the prints up at your local store, note that June 8 is the last day to order photos and have them arrive in time for Father’s Day via ground shipping.

Comments & discussion

We welcome your opinions, but let’s keep it civil. Like many businesses, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. In our case, that means those who communicate by name-calling, racism, using words designed to hurt others or generally acting like an uninformed bully. Also, comments that include links to email addresses or commercial websites typically aren't posted. This isn't a place to advertise your business.

On the news on KY3 in Springfield, Mo. you showed a recipe for making dishwasher soap and said we could find it on your website. Where is it because I have looked everywhere. I would like the one for laundry soap also.
