Daily Deals: External Hard Drives, Clothing, Bathroom Vanities, and Free Exterior House Stain

I’ve subscribed to the promotional emails of 500 companies and brands so that you don’t have to. Every week, I sift through 1,000 deal-touting emails. Most are a waste of your time, but a handful offer worthwhile coupons, codes, and sales – those are the ones I collect for you here and display in a reader-friendly format.

Technology

  • external hard drive: $120 off Western Digital’s 3 TB My Book Essential desktop external hard drive, the biggest drive in this USB 3.0-compatible line, at Amazon.com [expiration unknown]. For $130, you’re only paying $43/TB, which is tough to beat. If a faster data transfer speed isn’t important to you, however, you could save a little more by buying a USB 2.0-only drive.
  • Dell laptop and desktop computers: $100-$400 off select models at Costco ["while supplies last"]. These models weren’t cheap to begin with, though, so if you’re looking for a computer at a rock-bottom price, these aren’t it.

Clothing, shoes, and accessories

Comments & discussion

We welcome your opinions, but let’s keep it civil. Like many businesses, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. In our case, that means those who communicate by name-calling, racism, using words designed to hurt others or generally acting like an uninformed bully. Also, comments that include links to email addresses or commercial websites typically aren't posted. This isn't a place to advertise your business.

That should read $43 per TB, not GB.  I have one of the Western Digital units and they rock.  Thanks for all of your useful tips.  You rock, too!

Thanks, prvteye. Glad to hear you love your WD drive too. I just bought a portable one the other day.

The drive is not a 3GB drive. It is a 3TB drive. It is not $43/GB, which is abysmal in today’s prices. It should be less than $1/GB. Actually this translates to $0.043/GB.

      Manoa,

Thanks for the computer math. It is not my forte, but that deal sounds even better now.
