The price of mailing a 1-oz. letter will go up a penny on Sunday to 46 cents. The price per additional ounce is the same at 20 cents. Postcards also go up one cent to 33 cents.

The cool thing is, stamps you buy now are immune to future price increases. (That’ll still be true next week, they’ll just cost a little more.) And when USPS announced the change in October, they said this…

Beginning early next year, the Postal Service will introduce a First-Class Mail Global Forever Stamp. The new stamp will allow customers to mail letters anywhere in the world for one set price of $1.10.

So now you can protect your international mail from inflation, too. You can look up all the current and new prices on U.S. postal services here.
