Apple Supplier Used Child Labor
One Chinese manufacturer had dozens of employees under 16. Apple ditched them.

The electronics company also stopped doing business with a manufacturer that employed 74 people younger than 16 who used faked [work eligibility] papers, according to its annual Supplier Responsibility Report released today. The recruiter was reported to provincial authorities, fined and had its license suspended.
Apple is naming names and cutting ties because, as a senior VP there says, child labor is a problem that “doesn’t get fixed like it should.” And because the company’s been criticized a lot for labor conditions in the past few years.
