There’s an app for everything — literally. Need a calorie counter? There’s an app for that. Can’t figure out which type of dog to get? There’s an app for that. Need assistance in ending a relationship? There’s an app for that too.

Just when we thought the app market couldn’t get any better, it has. Over the past few weeks alone, a slew of new apps have debuted. These are our favorites:

1. Tamagotchi

For those who grew up in the 1990s (and even those who didn’t), the release of a free Tamagotchi app for iOS is the perfect piece of nostalgia for our phones. The app even allows you to play the game in black and white, just as you would on the actual device. You can also choose to play it in color, and have the option of playing different games with your “pets.”

2. Yogify

We’ve already told you about some of the most expensive workouts (and how you can afford them), but this app is another solution for the ever-growing price of yoga. New for iOS, it costs $9.99 for the entire collection, but it’s a small price to pay when compared with the $1,000-plus an annual studio membership can run. You’ll enjoy 30 hours of video instruction for different levels.

3. Lingualia

Not everyone can afford Rosetta Stone, and many of us don’t have time to attend actual Spanish classes. Luckily, Lingualia solves both problems. Similar to a social network, it uses artificial intelligence to teach users what they want to learn. Right now, the app is limited to English and Spanish, but we suspect the options will expand.

4. Glide

A popular new app, Glide allows you to record and broadcast videos in real time. They are then saved for later use. That means that even if your long-distance boyfriend or girlfriend can’t tune in at the same time as you, he or she can still receive the message from you at any time of the day.

5. What’s the Phrase

Words With Friends is so 2011. Choose from more than 40 categories to guess the phrase faster than your friends can. Brought to you by Zynga, this app is free, and available for iPhone or iPad.
