Amazon can now help more people buy not only goods but also services — from furniture assembly to computer repair.

The e-commerce giant announced this week that it has expanded its Home Services feature to serve 20 additional metropolitan areas.

Nish Lathia, general manager of Amazon Home Services, notes:

“Today, customers can search over 1,200 unique services from pros in over 60 professions — from house cleaning, to lawn work and beyond. The availability of Home Services in more cities means that more customers can quickly find and schedule the help they need around the house heading into the holiday season.”

Amazon launched Home Services in 2015. The professionals who provide the services are selected by Amazon, and their services are backed by Amazon’s Happiness Guarantee — “so customers have the comfort of knowing their job will get done right and on time,” as the company puts it.
