Cat litter is amazing stuff. In previous articles and videos we’ve shown how it can be used to dispose of old paint and clean up nasty spills.
You can also use it to deal with the nasty liquid and smell that sometimes collects at the bottom of the trash can. Simply scoop kitty litter into the can — enough so it generously covers the bottom. Let it sit for 15 minutes to half an hour, and then pour it out. It will absorb the gunk and deodorize the trash container.
