What’s better than a stack of piping hot golden pancakes fresh off the griddle? How about getting them for free?

As a way to promote its new pancakes, Denny’s launched its “Free Pancakes for Kids” offer, which is good for the entire month of September.

With the purchase of one adult entree at Denny’s, kids ages 10 and under can score a free stack of Denny’s flapjacks from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The restaurant chain’s new buttermilk pancakes are made with fresh buttermilk, real eggs and a hint of vanilla, so they’re “fluffier, tastier and free for kids,” Denny’s writes on its website.

John Dillon, chief marketing officer for Denny’s, says in a press release:

“Not only is this a great way for our guests, including kids, to try our new pancakes, but it is also our way of inviting families to enjoy breakfast for dinner at an affordable price.”

Denny’s is also asking customers to donate $1 in September to benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign, which raises money to help end childhood hunger. Each tax-deductible dollar donated feeds a child up to 10 healthy meals, Denny’s says. Over the past six years, the restaurant chain says it has helped raise $3.3 million for No Kid Hungry.
