Many Americans are curious about the cost of a nose job, a pound of weed, a prostitute, or a funeral.
That’s according to cost-weighing website Fixr.com, which compiled a list of the top-searched-for costs of goods and services in each state. In California, residents often Google the cost of a facelift. Floridians are curious about the cost of an abortion.
Meanwhile, residents of Wyoming want to know about the cost of a keg of beer.
You can recreate Fixr’s research by typing in “How much does* cost in (insert state)?”
Here are a few highlights of the survey:
- Vermont. Cord of wood.
- Hawaii. Gas.
- South Dakota. A vasectomy.
- Arkansas and Indiana. Breast implants.
- Colorado. Weed.
Montana – the state I call home – most often searches for the cost of a fishing license. No surprise there.
