I’m retired and recently applied for a loan for an RV. The application asked for monthly income. My only regular monthly income is my Social Security check. I have considerable investments (as least they’re considerable for me) and when I need money I call my financial adviser and he takes care of it. Anyway I was turned down for the loan because of a lack of income, luckily I was able to go ahead and pay cash and got the RV anyway. So how do you address income on a loan application when you really don’t have a regular income?
