Friday Deals: IHOP, MP3s, Juicers, and Free Motor Oil

By on

If you don’t have plans for this weekend yet, don’t worry – we’ve got enough deals to keep you busy through Sunday. And if you haven’t bought a gift for Mother’s Day (May 8) or National Teacher Appreciation Day (May 3) yet, these deals include several options.

Food

If you’re taking the kids along, grab a free IHOP kids meal with the purchase of an adult entree between 4 and 8 p.m. If not, get a free drink plus chips or a cookie at Quizno’s when you buy a regular or large sub. Both deals expire Saturday, April 30.

Clothing

First thing’s first: While you’re out, stop by your local Gap store by Saturday, April 30, and sign up to win the Gap Royal Treatment. Every store will pick one winner – and every winner will get 50 percent off for an entire year, just like Gap employees.

For the ladies, take an additional 50 percent off all Loft.com sale items at checkout, or use code SHOP30 to save 30 percent on full-price items online or in stores [expires Saturday, April 30]. At Lane Bryant, take $25 off a purchase of $75 at stores (print the coupon) or LaneBryant.com (use code APRILGCLB) [expires Sunday, May 1].

Hot Topic’s clearance blowout includes items for up to 70 percent off, and code HTA20OFFCC will save you an additional 20 percent on purchases of $60 or more [expires Sunday, May 1].

Shoes

You can take $15 off a purchase of $50 at Foot Locker stores or FootLocker.com, or $30 off a purchase of $100. If you don’t need sneakers, take 30 percent off your entire purchase at Famous Footwear stores or FamousFootwear.com. Both coupons expire Sunday, May 1.

Media

Amazon is currently giving away free MP3 downloads of Roy Orbison’s “Love Hurts.” More than 25,000 of their other MP3s are on sale for 69 cents or less. We’re not sure when either deal ends, though, so if you’re interested, download ASAP.

If you’re more interested in books, check out Barnes & Noble’s spring clearance sale – books are going for as little as $1.99 while they last, and music and movies are also on sale. For even cheaper movies, Amazon is giving away $6 Tribeca video credits to anyone who connects their Amazon account to their Twitter account [expires Sunday, May 1].

Electronics

Still not sure what to give mom for Mother’s Day? All juicers are 20 percent off at Best Buy stores, and TigerDirect.com is having a “rare” end-of-the-month clearance sale. Both end on Saturday, April 30.

Et cetera

Mother’s Day items are currently up to 30 percent off at CrateandBarrel.com, and you can take $5 off an in-store purchase at Sears [expires Saturday, April 30].

In stores and online, items from Kay Jewelers’ clearance section are an additional 20 percent off. Plus, as part of their weekend-long customer appreciation event, you’ll save 20 percent on regular in-store purchases. Both sales expire Sunday, May 1.

To top your gift off with a free personalized card from TinyPrints.com, “friend” them on Facebook. Just don’t wait or there won’t be enough time for them to mail it to you before Mother’s Day.

To wrap things up with a random deal, how about a free 5-quart bottle of motor oil from Green Earth Technologies after a rebate? [expires Saturday, April 30]
