They’re back! Discounted Twinkies and other Hostess snack cakes have hit the shelves of Big Lots – the new official Hostess thrift outlet.

The Ohio-based closeout retailer chain announced in a press release that Big Lots has replaced the former Hostess thrift stores. It will sell Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Zingers and other Hostess sweet treats at discounts of up to 40 percent.

“The thrift outlets were extremely popular,” said Big Lots CEO David Campisi in the press release. “We are thrilled to team up with this iconic brand and give customers a new destination to find outstanding savings on the products they know and love.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, the old Hostess company closed its factories and filed for bankruptcy in 2012. When the new owners of Hostess started making the iconic snack cakes again in July, the thrift stores were not reopened.

The Big Lots stores will receive an assortment of Hostess treats on a weekly basis.

“Customers who want the best selection will need to get there early and often. … When they’re gone, they’re gone,” said Andy Stein, Big Lots’ chief customer officer, in the press release.

Big Lots operates 1,493 outlets in 48 states.
