September just started and the new school year is barely underway, but Walmart wants you to start planning for the holidays. The retailer just released its list of the top toys for the upcoming holiday season.

In what has become an annual tradition, the retail giant partnered with some of the best toy experts — hundreds of kids, ages 18 months to 12 years — to help select the hottest toys.

“Santa may know who is naughty and nice, but we know what’s on their list,” says Anne Marie Kehoe, vice president of toys at Walmart, in a statement

Walmart’s “Chosen by Kids” list includes perennial favorites such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, Nerf and “Star Wars.” Walmart says it has more than 400 exclusive toys this year, six of which are included in the top holiday toys list:

  • My Life As Food Truck
  • Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Batcave
  • Disney Princess Carriage
  • Pie Face Showdown! game
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Remote Control Skateboarding Mikey
  • Razor PowerCore E100 Electric Scooter

Walmart is also rolling out its holiday layaway program on Sept. 2. The program gives customers the opportunity to pay off their items by Dec. 12 instead of all at once.
