Right now, you'll find everything from washing machines to clothing to party supplies at a discount as the long weekend's sales linger.

We might be observing Memorial Day on a Monday, but many holiday sales don’t end until Tuesday’s over. So if you have the day off – or even if you have to sneak out of work a little early – now’s a great time to stock up on electronics – among pretty much everything else.

Electronics and appliances

At hhgregg‘s sale, on $99-plus items, they’ll give you the same discount that employees’ family members enjoy [expires 6/1]. They don’t say exactly how much that is, but based on the sale prices, it could save you hundreds.

At Hewlett-Packard‘s sale, take $10 off any $50-plus product (with code SUMMER10) and enjoy free shipping [6/1]. Over at Dell‘s sale, select laptops and desktops are up to 25 percent off and ship for free [5/31]. For members of BJ’s Wholesale Club, ASUS laptops are up to $175 off [5/31].

If you’re more interested in appliances, hit up Sears. Kenmore appliances are 30 percent off, Samsung appliances are 25 percent off, and all other appliances are 15 percent off [5/31].

Office supplies

Take $10 off a $50-plus purchase at Office Depot stores (with coupon) and online (with code 54219660) [expires 5/31]. If all you need is to stick some stuff to the wall, save on 3M‘s Command brand hooks and picture-hanging products (coupons) [5/31].

Clothing

Guys and gals: If you hit the mall today, save 30 percent on your entire purchase at Hollister Co. stores and online (with code 30139), and 25 percent on your entire purchase at Abercrombie & Fitch stores and online (code 10062) [both expire 5/31].

Women, plus size, and girls: At Danskin.com, athletic wear is 20 percent off site-wide and orders of $50-plus ship for free (code #MDW) [5/31].

Shoes

Men and women: At the Coach brand’s shoe sale, everything from sneakers to rain boots to heels are up to 50 percent off in stores and online [expiration unknown]. At Discount Shoe Warehouse‘s clearance section, shoes and handbags are up to 40 percent off in stores and online [expiration unknown].

Women: Easy Spirit sandals are up to 50 percent off in stores and online [5/31]. If you shop online, shipping is free. If you shop in a store, you can take $10 off all sales styles (coupon).

Children: Save 20 percent when you spend $50-plus at Stride Rite stores (with coupon) or online (with code KIDSUN20) [5/31].

Food

If all the savings work up your appetite, save up to $5 on your order at Baja Fresh (with coupon) [expires 5/31]. For a free Ironman sports drink with that, stop by GNC (coupon) [6/1].

Party supplies and backpacks

Memorial Day celebrations are winding down, but if you’ve got another party coming up – perhaps a graduation party – take $10 off any purchase of $65-plus at Party City in stores (with coupon) or online (with code PC8AFH6) [5/31].

Lastly, if the past school year gave a beating to your or your child’s backpack, dozens of JanSport styles are up to 70 percent at 6pm.com [expiration unknown].
