Monday’s Deals: Flat-Screen TVs, Pizza, Detergent, and Free Bowling

Every week, I study 1,000 deal-touting emails from major companies. Most aren’t worth your time, but a handful offer worthwhile coupons, codes, and sales – those are the ones I collect for you here and display in a deal-seeker-friendly format.

Independence Day sales are still going strong, so if you somehow didn’t like any of the holiday deals I mentioned on Friday or find yourself bored on your Monday off, here’s another handful to check out. Just remember they expire at the end of July 4 unless otherwise noted.

“Sports”:

• Bowling: Free game of bowling at Brunswick Bowling centers. The fine print says, “a free game of bowling to every person.” So a family of four should be able to score four free games.
• Foosball: 60 percent off a tabletop foosball game for two or four people at Buy.com [expiration unknown]. Instead of $50, it’s just $20.

Food:

• Omaha Steaks: Spend $59-plus on select already-discounted products and they’ll toss in eight free burgers and free shipping.
• Papa John’s: 33 percent off all regular-price items when you order online (promo code 33JJULY4).
• Hooters: 10 free boneless or traditional wings when you buy another 10 for a dine-in order.
• Mimi’s Café (French restaurant): 20 percent off a to-go order of $20-plus, or 50 percent off a dinner entree when you buy another dinner entree and two drinks (two printable coupons).

Clothing, shoes, and accessories:

• Jones New York (women’s clothing): Up to 80 percent off during the Semi-Annual Sale online [expiration unknown].
• Stein Mart (department store): An extra 20 percent off any sale item in stores (printable coupon).
• Shoes: $10 off a $60-plus purchase at Rack Room Shoes (printable coupon). That’s only 16.7 percent off, but you can save more than that considering that all of Rack Room’s shoes are apparently now buy-one-get-one-half-off every day!
• Backpacks: Up to 52 percent off select SwissGear backpacks at Amazon.com [expiration unknown].

Technology:

• Circuit City: Save up to hundreds during the 4th of July Celebration Blowout Sale at CircuitCity.com. The sale includes noise-canceling headphones and a home theater bundle but mostly covers flat-panel TVs, tablets, and laptops.

Everything else:

• Babies R Us/Toys R Us: $10 off Tide, Dreft, and Seventh Generation laundry detergent in 150-ounce containers in stores (printable coupon) and online (coupon code 946163). You’ll find the coupon on page three of that seven-page PDF, which includes more than 50 other coupons and deals at both Babies R Us and Toys R Us.
• Advanced Auto Parts: 20 percent off everything online (promo code BOOM). Plus, if you spend $75-plus, shipping is free. If you spend $100-plus, you’ll receive a coupon for $50 off of a future online order of $100-plus. They’ll email you that coupon on July 15, and you’ll have till August 14 to spend it.
• Stein Mart (department store): An extra 20 percent off any sale item in stores (printable coupon).
