Spring is here! And so are the deals: We’ve got savings on dresses and swimwear, cameras and printers – and weirder things.
But first, freebie of the week: Vistaprint is once again offering up a bunch of free stuff, but it’s first-come, first-served and a lot of the deals (tote bags, T-shirts, etc.) are gone. Sometimes they “restock” the offer and sometimes they don’t. But as of this writing, you can still get 250 free color business cards or a free rubber stamp with your address imprinted. You just pay shipping costs.
For the office, Staples has some good deals of the day this week: 60 percent off Sharpies today, discounted printers and cameras later this week, and 80 percent off CD-Rs on Saturday.
Over at Amazon, you can stock up on ever-useful Scotch tape at a bargain. You can get 6 rolls of tape with a free dispenser for $11. That’s 6,000 inches of tape.
Given your car a good look lately? If you’re missing anything, Advance Auto Parts has a coupon for $10 off $30 or $20 off $50: use coupon code A123. And if you need some wiper blades, buying Rain-X Latitude wiper blades will make you eligible for a $10 mail-in rebate and a free umbrella.
For ladies ready to try a new look at the pool, Victoria’s Secret has swimwear on sale at 25 percent off. Many styles are under $20. The $5.99 for shipping may be a deal-breaker, but spend $100 or more and shipping is free with coupon code SHIPVS11.
For clothing that covers a little more, Amazon has a variety of dresses on sale at 50 percent off or more, ranging from casual to cocktail.
If spring makes you ready to get outside and take some pictures, here’s a cheap casual camera: Buy.com has a Casio 12 MP compact camera for $60 through Tuesday, more than half off the regular price.
And if spring cleaning means redecorating, JCPenney is offering $10 off a $25 purchase Wednesday through Saturday this week with coupon code SHOPNBAG.
Meanwhile, Target has throw pillows on clearance for as cheap as $3. There are lots of designs, ranging from fancy to kiddie.
To wrap up with the weirdest deal of the week, Amazon has marked down some dangerous-looking knives – pocket and otherwise. Discounts are up to 65 percent, although selection is a little limited. But if you’re in the market for some serious cutting and stabbing implements, you might not care!
That’s all we’ve got this week. We’ll have more next time. Check back then, and leave your best finds in the comment for everybody to share.
