There’s no real rhyme or reason to this week’s deals, which seem strongest in office supplies and home décor. We saw savings on printing paper, packing tape, shoes, candles, linens, and jewelry. In most cases, you’ll have to spend a minimum to save anything, but we did spot one weird freebie: underwear for guys.

In the ever-popular free food category, Denny’s stood out this week. They’ve got a buy one entrée, get one free coupon good through Nov. 11. Drinks aren’t included, of course.

Over at Office Depot, that coupon from last week’s deals makes for great savings when combined with this week’s sale items. For instance, you can get 10 reams of 8×11 paper in stores for $10 – which would normally run $42. The sale price through Saturday is $19.99, but when you add a pack of gum or some other small item to your purchase, you can tack on that $10-off $20 coupon, cutting the effective price to $9.99.

The same ad also mentions a buy two, get one free deal on several office supplies, including bottled water, pens, sticky notes, and file folders. These are great deals if combined with the coupon, too.

If you’re planning on moving soon or just have an obsession with adhesives, Amazon.com has a great deal on almost 5,000 inches of 2-inch Scotch brand packaging tape. You get a six-roll bundle for $13.10, which is almost half off the normal price of the bundle or what you’d spend on the individual rolls.

Amazon.com also has a lot of sterling silver jewelry on sale. All of it’s under $70, and most of it’s under $25.

At Pier 1, you can save $10 off $30 and score a free tote bag for spending $25 or more with these coupons.

You can save 20% on an item at Linens ‘N’ Things online with coupon code OKTFEST2010. You also get a year’s subscription to Martha Stewart Living magazine if you spend over $50.

A Yankee Candle coupon for $10 off $25 or more is the last of the home décor deals we spotted. You can use it with almost anything, but we noticed they have Halloween scents and many candle holders and accessories on sale right now.

Guys can pick up a free pair of underwear – well, after $2.50 for shipping and handling – from Goldtoe. You have a choice of briefs, boxer briefs, V-neck T-shirt or crew neck T-shirt.

Don’t feel left out, ladies: Sephora.com is offering three free samples with any purchase, and you can save 20 percent on your order with coupon code FF2010, too. You’ll automatically get free shipping on orders over $50, which is otherwise $6.

Both men and women can save on shoes at Sears.com this week- there’s a lot on clearance. Those prices don’t look bad, but they’re actually even better when you go through the checkout process and an additional 50-percent discount is automatically added. Shipping is about $7, or free on orders over $50.

Be sure to check back next week for more deals, and if you make any great finds this week, please let everybody know about them in the comments.
