Calling all coffee lovers: Wawa wants you to celebrate #WawaDay with a free cuppa joe -- all day Thursday, April 14.

“There’s no such thing as a free lunch.” We’ve all heard that old adage. But at Wawa stores, there is such thing as free coffee — at least there is April 14.

You can score a free cup of coffee — any size! — all day Thursday at participating Wawa stores.

It’s apparently “Wawa Day” (I’m not sure what that is), and the convenience store and gas station chain wants you to celebrate the day with them with a free steaming-hot cup of coffee.

There are more than 650 Wawa stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Central Florida. Click here to see if there’s one in your area.

Here’s an interesting tidbit about Wawa stores. According to The News Journal, the name Wawa comes from the Native American word for the Canada goose. That explains why the Wawa logo has a goose in it.

Are you a coffee fan? Do you shop or fill up your vehicle at Wawa stores? Share your comments below or on our Facebook page.
