1. Bingo manager

Run daily games, approve jackpots, and stay on top of paperwork. Know your federal and state gaming laws and be quick on the draw.

Requires: Possibly a high school diploma or GED, plus at least five years of experience.

2. Assistant principal

Put in four years of teaching and you can earn this coveted position at the local school. You’ll help the boss manage day-to-day operations, plan curriculum, and oversee staff and faculty.

Requires: Bachelor’s and sometimes a master’s degree, at least five years of experience, and the ability to instill fear in delinquents with one stern look.

3. Six Sigma black belt

Apply Six Sigma methods and analysis to business operations to meet and exceed goals.

Requires: Usually a master’s degree, seven years of relevant experience, and Six Sigma accreditation. Leave your karate uniform at home.

4. Head of housekeeping

Get paid to clean! Actually, this management position requires overseeing the day-to-day workings of an entire housekeeping operation at a hotel or resort. You’ll also inspect rooms and recommend fixes and renovations.

Requires: Possibly a high school diploma or GED and at least seven years of experience.

5. Executive chef at a casino

Run the entire kitchen operations, create menus, develop new recipes, and berate underperforming staff. Oh wait, that’s only if you’re on reality TV.

Prepare yourself for more than fixing light bulbs. This job requires maintaining, buying, selling, and renting multiple properties. Plus, you’ll keep track of the income and expense reports for each one.

10. Paralegal supervisor

Work your way up the legal field while preparing appeals, wills, and contracts. Manage less experienced paralegals and keep up on statutes and rulings.

Requires: Bachelor’s degree, four to six years of experience, and tolerance for lawyers.
