About 75 percent of companies plan to pay out bonuses this year, according to a survey by Accounting Principals. But some Americans’ annual bonuses put other workers’ yearly income to shame.

According to a separate survey by LinkedIn, if you were to select a profession based solely on its annual cash bonus earnings, you might want to consider investment banking or the medical field.

LinkedIn says if you exclude C-suite titles like CEO, COO and CFO, investment banking associates earn the biggest annual bonuses at roughly $100,000 year.

That figure is especially impressive when you consider the median household income in the U.S. in 2015 was just under $56,000.

Next in line are surgeons, who pocket roughly $60,000 in bonus cash.

LinkedIn says these 10 professions enjoy the highest annual cash bonuses:

  1. Investment banking associate: $100,000
  2. Surgeon: $60,000
  3. Radiologist: $47,500
  4. Investment banking analyst: $45,000
  5. Medical director: $40,000
  6. Commercial director: $35,000
  7. Global marketing director: $34,500
  8. Senior portfolio manager: $34,000
  9. Senior corporate counsel: $31,000
  10. Equity research analyst: $30,000

If you do collect a bonus from your employer this year, it likely won’t be as lucrative as the bonuses collected in the careers on the list above. LinkedIn says the average bonus for professionals in the U.S. is 7.6 percent of their median annual salary.
