Do you feel like you’re constantly stuck in rush-hour traffic on your way to and from work? If so, you’re not alone.

Los Angeles is the world’s most gridlocked city, with drivers there spending a whopping 104 hours sitting in traffic jams during peak travel times during 2016, according to a new traffic congestion study from Inrix, a Kirkland, Washington-based transportation analytics firm.

The U.S. also has the dubious distinction of being home to half of the cities included in Inrix’s top 10 most traffic-congested cities across the globe:

  1. Los Angeles
  2. Moscow
  3. New York
  4. San Francisco
  5. Bogota, Colombia
  6. Sao Paulo
  7. London
  8. Atlanta
  9. Paris
  10. Miami

These are the 10 most traffic-congested cities in the U.S.

  1. Los Angeles
  2. New York
  3. San Francisco
  4. Atlanta
  5. Miami
  6. Washington, D.C.
  7. Dallas
  8. Boston
  9. Chicago
  10. Seattle

Although New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles all share a traffic congestion rate of about 13 percent, Inrix says they experience “strikingly different traffic patterns” throughout the day.

For example, “New York City has the highest daytime congestion on arterials and city streets, while San Francisco holds the top spot at peak times,” explains Inrix.

If you hate driving in rush-hour traffic, perhaps working from home is perfect for you. An increasing number of companies are hiring workers to telecommute. Here are the “Top 25 Companies for Work-From-Home Jobs.”
