Taking the kids to see a family flick at the movie theater can be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the exorbitant price tag for movie tickets and snacks can make family movie time seem like “Mission Impossible.”

But what if you could snag a movie ticket for just $1? It may sound too good to be true, but it’s not.

Regal Cinemas Summer Movie Express makes taking your children to the movie theater affordable. All summer long, beginning on June 28, participating Regal theaters offer $1 movie admission to popular kids movies at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Two different movies play on both days each week.

The movies aren’t new, but they’re still fun films that kids are sure to enjoy. Some of the movies that will be featured include “The Croods,” “Goosebumps,” “The Minions,” “The Lego Movie” and “Shaun the Sheep.” Click here to check out the nine-week movie schedule in its entirety.

And what’s a movie without fresh popped and buttered popcorn? Regal Cinemas theaters offer $2 popcorn during the Summer Movie Express.

A portion of the proceeds from the popular Summer Movie Express goes to the Will Rogers Institute.
