Plus, deals on Valentine's cards, restaurants, hedgers, and jewelry.

I’ve subscribed to the promotional emails of 500 companies and brands so you don’t have to. I sift through 1,000 deal-touting emails every week. Most are worthless, but a handful offer valuable coupons, promo codes, sales, and freebies – which I collect and organize for you here.

Arts and crafts and photos

  • Hobby Lobby: 40 percent off one full-priced item in stores (print first) and online (use code 7465) [2/18].
  • Photo cards: If you still need a Valentine’s Day card, 5×7 folded photo cards are $0.99 at Walgreens Photo online (use code LOVE99) [2/15].
  • Photo books: Linen photo books are buy-one-get-one-free at Walgreens Photo online (use code BOGOBK) [2/18].

Food

Technology

  • Movies: Free Redbox DVD rental for all of your Facebook friends [2/14]. You can send one promo code to each of your friends, who can redeem it for one free rental at a Redbox kiosk on Valentine’s Day.
  • iPad: $70 off a 16GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi in black or white at Meijer stores [expiration unknown]. Instead of $500, they’re $430 – the lowest price I’ve seen except on refurbished versions. Unfortunately, Meijer is a regional store located only in five Midwestern states: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.
  • Hedger: 39 percent off Black & Decker’s #GH1000 14-inch GH XP Trimmer/Edger at Buy.com [expiration unknown]. Instead of $75, it’s $45 – and shipping is free.
  • Speakers: 57 percent off fruit- and vegetable-shaped USB computer speakers at Buy.com [expiration unknown]. There are seven to pick from: apple, orange, pear, pimiento (which looks like a yellow bell pepper), pumpkin (which doesn’t really look like a pumpkin), tomato, and watermelon. Instead of $70, they’re $30 – and shipping is free.
  • Video game: 25 percent off Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition for Xbox 360 at Buy.com. Instead of $40, it’s $30 – and shipping is free.

Clothing, shoes, and accessories

  • Fashion jewelry (for her): 50 percent off all full-price pieces at Coldwater Creek stores and online [2/13].
  • Sleepwear (plus sizes for her): 40 percent off at Catherines stores and online (use code NOWLATERCA) [2/14].
