Plus the fishing experts' biggest fishing sale, up to 50 percent off at The Gap, a free 12-pack of AAA batteries, and 25 percent off your entire purchase at CVS.

I’ve subscribed to the promotional emails of 500 companies and brands so you don’t have to. I sift through 1,000 deal-touting emails every week. Most are worthless, but a handful offer valuable coupons, promo codes, sales, and freebies – which I collect and organize for you here.

Fitness and outdoors

  • Curves (gym): Free one-week pass [expiration unknown]. This is a women-only gym.
  • Fishing gear: Up to 50 percent off rods, lures, tackle, clothing, and more during the Online Fishing Classic Sale at Bass Pro Shops [expiration unknown]. Shipping is a flat $5 with no minimum. They say this is their biggest fishing sale of the year, but not all of the items in it are actually on sale – only the ones with a red “SALE” in front of them.

Home

  • Bedding: Up to 25 percent off pillows, heating blankets, and lots of comforter sets in the clearance bedding section of Walmart.com [expiration unknown]. Some items are already out of stock, though, so don’t wait.
  • Vacuum (Dyson): 50 percent off a refurbished Animal model at Amazon.com [expiration unknown]. This saves you $340 and has a strong customer rating.

Check out the “Home goods” section of our Deals page for more homey savings.

Health and beauty

  • Aveeno: 30 percent off your entire order online (use code SPRING) [3/25]. Shipping is free if you spend $25-plus. Aveeno rarely offers deals like this, and this is a good one.
  • CVS: 25 percent off your entire purchase (use code GET25) [3/18]. I’ve never before seen CVS give this discount without requiring you to spend a certain amount. Just note the fine print at the bottom, because a few brands are excluded.

Technology

  • Music: Hundreds of hit songs are 69 cents each at Amazon.com [expiration unknown]. That’s 30 percent off the average song price.
  • Batteries: Free 12-pack of AAAs – a $6 value – with the purchase of a five-pack of 9-volts at Rayovac online (use code DAYLIGHT2012) [3/18].
  • Hearing-aid batteries: 20 percent off at Rayovac online (use code HAB20) [3/18].
  • Printers: Select models, including all-in-one printers, are up to 50 percent off at Staples online [expiration unknown]. Check out your local Staples ad too for $50- and $100-off printer discounts.
  • Inkjet multifunction color printer (HP): 42 percent off the Officejet Pro 8600 at Buy.com [expiration unknown]. Instead of $488, it’s $280 – and shipping is free! Buy.com is usually hard to beat, but it has the second-lowest price on the Internet, according to PriceGrabber: EnterComputers.com sells this for $20 less, although I’m unfamiliar with that retailer.

Clothing, shoes, and accessories

  • Gap (for the whole family): Up to 50 percent off during the Spring Sale in stores and online [expiration unknown].
