Every week, I study 1,000 deal-touting emails from major companies. Most aren’t worth your time, but a handful offer worthwhile coupons, codes, and sales – these are the ones I collect for you here and display in a deal-seeker-friendly format.
Today’s a great day to snag a wide variety of deals…
Technology:
- HP LaserJet P2035n printer: This black-and-white laser printer retails for $300, but Staples is selling it for $175 online [expiration unknown]. You can buy it for slightly less on Amazon, but Staples will toss you a free coupon book worth $240 in HP toners if you fill out a rebate form [expires 7/2]. The form is only one page, but note that the directions are on the second page of the PDF. Oh, and if it’s not enough for you that the printer will pay for itself and then some in free toner, shipping is free too.
- Norton 360 software: 50 percent off the list price at Buy.com [expiration unknown]. This program says it protects your computer from viruses and you from identity theft.
- LG flat-panel TVs: Amazon.com is selling select LG home entertainment products - mostly TVs - for such a low price that they can't advertise them. “Because our price … is lower than the manufacturer’s ‘minimum advertised price,'” they explain, “the manufacturer does not allow us to show you our price until you take further action, such as placing the item in your shopping cart.” Don’t worry, though: Putting an item in your e-cart to find out its price does not obligate you to buy it. And you can easily remove it from your cart afterward.
Clothing:
- Children: Three great OshKosh B’gosh store-only deals [expirations unknown]: All sleepwear sets are $10, there’s a $4 clearance section, and you can take an additional 20 percent off any clearance item.
- Young adults: 40 percent off redlines at Abercrombie & Fitch stores and online [expires 6/29]. If you shop your local store, click on the word “DETAILS” before leaving home because a few dozen stores aren’t participating in this deal.
- Plus-size women: $25 off $5o-plus orders from Jessica London online (with promo code JLE4644) [6/22].
Shoes and accessories:
- Shoes: 50 percent off one pair at Payless stores or online when you buy another pair [expires 6/27].
- Shoes, handbags, jewelry, and accessories: Up to 50 percent off men’s and women’s items at Aldo stores and online while their Hot Summer Sale lasts [expiration unknown]. Some shoes are actually as much as 70 percent off, and shipping is free [“for a limited time”]. The selection is great too – flip-flops, flats, stilettos, wedges, boots, loafers, lace-ups, you name it. If I hadn’t bought six pairs of shoes in the last month (read about those deals here), I’d have already taken advantage of this sale.
- Women’s jewelry: Up to 65 percent off at Things Remembered [expiration unknown]. This store sells engravable items that make great gifts. And this is a great sale: Bracelets and necklaces that normally sell for $25-$100 are going for $10-$50 – and some come with free gifts.
Food:
- Cheesecake Factory: Free piece of cheesecake – you pick the kind – with a $30-plus order (with printable coupon) [expires 6/28].
- Olive Garden: $4 off any two dinner entrees (Facebook coupon) [6/26].
- Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza restaurants: $2 off any full-price pizza (printable coupon) [6/28].
- Sweet Tomatoes: 4 coupons for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (printable coupons) [6/23].
- Zevia soda: $1 off any 6-pack (with Facebook coupon) [expiration unknown]. If you haven’t heard of Zevia, it’s a calorie-free soda sweetened with Stevia, and you can read more about it on their website. It comes in about a dozen flavors.
A little bit of everything else:
- Housewares: On Monday, I mentioned Crate and Barrel’s Summer Sale items are up to 60 percent off [expiration unknown]. Since then, their sister company CB2 (think Crate and Barrel for younger, trendier adults) has kicked off its own up-to-60-percent-off Summer Sale online [expiration unknown].
- Photos: 50 free 4×6 photos when you buy 50 from Walgreens online (with promo code DEALS4DAD) [expires 6/25]. If you need something bigger, photo posters are 25 percent off online (promo code THINKBIG) [6/25].
- Toys: Additional 30 percent off already-reduced toys at the Disney Store online (promo code TOY30) [6/23].
- Pet supplies: 10 percent off food and litter and 20 percent off most everything else at Petco online [6/23]. Plus, get $6 flat-rate shipping – or free shipping if you spend $49-plus (promo code 72hour49ext) [6/23].
- Bass Pro Shops 2-liter hydration pack: 43 percent off online – instead of $35, they’re going for $20 [expiration unknown]. If you’ve never heard of this dohickey, it’s basically a small, specially designed backpack that holds water and has a flexible straw that runs from the backpack to the mouth of the person wearing it, so that he or she doesn’t have to stop to pull a water bottle out. It makes a great gift for people who are into sports like paintball and hunting.
