Cricket Wireless, AT&T’s prepaid subsidiary, has added even more value to its most popular monthly plan.

The company’s $50 per month Smart option has received a high-speed data bump of 60 percent, taking your monthly 4G LTE allowance from 5GB up to 8GB. The plan also includes unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited 2G data.

The plan will keep its $50 per month price point, and if you’re a customer with AutoPay billing, you’ll receive a monthly discount of $5. All of Cricket’s plans include monthly taxes and fees, so customers can enjoy unlimited calls and text, and 8GB of fast data, for just $45 per month.

Cricket’s Smart plan also gives customers access to their talk, text and data allowance when traveling through Mexico and Canada, at no extra cost. You’ll also get unlimited calls from the U.S. to either neighboring country, and unlimited international texting.

More data, lower prices

Customers with extra-large data needs can also sign up for 10GB of 4G LTE each month with Cricket’s $60 per month Pro plan ($55 with AutoPay), or go for unlimited fast data for just $70 ($65 after AutoPay discount). Both plans include unlimited talk and text, and the aforementioned international features.

If you’re interested in a multi-line or family option, customers can qualify for a Group Save discount by adding up to four additional lines to their account. You’ll receive $10 per month off for your second line, $20 for your third, $30 for your fourth line and a $40 per month discount for five lines.

Cricket’s updated Smart plan is available now for new and current customers. For more information on Cricket, start comparing plans at this page of our Solutions Center.
