Summer is here at last, and you can celebrate the long days and warm weather with sizzling freebies that will be available throughout the month of June.
From free doughnuts and smoothies to a complimentary quart of paint, following are 10 freebies you can grab this month.
Free doughnut at multiple locations — June 2
National Doughnut Day is Friday, June 2, giving you the opportunity to score some free doughnuts. Shops that are participating in the promotion include:
- Krispy Kreme. Get a free doughnut of your choice on June 2.
- Dunkin’ Donuts. Purchase any beverage, and you’ll receive a free classic doughnut.
- LaMar’s Donuts. Get a free doughnut when you print or show the ticket found at the LaMar’s Donuts website.
Free iced tea at Teavana — beginning June 2
Nothing cools you off like iced tea on a hot summer day. From 3-7 p.m. on Fridays throughout the summer, buy a 24-fluid-ounce handcrafted featured iced tea beverage at Teavana, and you’ll get a second free iced tea to share with a friend. Choose from three flavors:
- Beach Bellini
- Strawberry Daquiri
- Pina Colada
The promotion — dubbed summer “Fri-YAYs” — begins June 2 and runs through Aug. 11.
Free entrance to a museum — June 3-4
If you have a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card, you get free admission to scores of museums across the nation on the first weekend of every month.
This month’s promotion falls on June 3-4. Check out the Bank of America website for a list of participating museums, and get ready to enjoy your complimentary cultural experience.
Free fishing in many states — June 3-11
The first week of June is National Fishing and Boating Week. To celebrate, many states are allowing folks to fish without an angler’s license from June 3-11.

Free tote bag at Rubio’s — June 8
Celebrate World Oceans Day at Rubio’s Coastal Grill by getting a free tote bag on June 8. To claim your prize, print out the coupon at the Rubio’s website.
Free JCPenney portrait for military personnel — through June 11
Where would the nation be without those who serve in the military? At Money Talks News, we remain profoundly grateful to all who fight for our freedoms. So, we’re always happy to see freebies aimed at members of the nation’s armed forces.

Free taco at Taco Bell — June 13 or June 20
For the third straight year, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors are clashing for the NBA title. If a road team “steals” at least one of the first three games, Taco Bell will offer all customers a free Doritos Locos Taco from 2-6 p.m. on June 13.
If no road team wins one of the first three games, but does win at least once during games four through seven, you can get the free taco from 2-6 p.m. on June 20.

Free smoothie at Tropical Smoothie Cafe — June 16
Flip-flops and summer go hand in hand, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe will honor the seasonal attire on June 16, National Flip-Flop Day.
All customers wearing flip-flops who stop in the store from 2-7 p.m. will get a free Sunshine Smoothie in a new limited edition 16-ounce 20th anniversary cup.
The flip-flop event is used to kick off fundraising for Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine. The organization serves children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
More free iced tea — this time at McAlister’s Deli on June 29
June is National Iced Tea Month. We already mentioned above that Teavana will celebrate summer with BOGO iced tea beginning on June 2. Later in the month — on June 29 –McAlister’s Deli will celebrate by giving out free 32-ounce glasses of iced sweet or unsweetened black or green tea.
National Iced Tea Month is part of a celebration that also includes National Iced Tea Day on June 10. Last year, chains such as Starbucks and Wendy’s participated in the day-long promotion. Keep an eye on Money Talks News to see who is participating on June 10 this year.
Free color sample quart at Kelly-Moore Paints — through June 30
