Sure, there’s still snow on the ground in some parts of the country, but if you happen to have a hankering for a frozen treat, today’s your day.
It’s National Frozen Yogurt Day, and many shops are celebrating the “holiday” with deals. In fact, the following chains are giving away frozen yogurt or ice cream today.
In most cases, you need to do little more than show up to score these freebies. You might want to call ahead to confirm that locations in your area are participating in the offers, though.

1. 16 Handles
Rewards members of this chain can receive 3 ounces of soft-serve yogurt and toppings for free.
Additionally, those who scan their 16 Handles app, or QR loyalty card, will receive a $2.75 credit, which is valid Feb. 7-29.
Locations: 16 Handles has about three dozen locations, primarily in the Northeast.
Buy one frozen yogurt from 3 to 7 p.m. today at a Menchie’s store, and you’ll get one for free.

Get 6 ounces of frozen yogurt for free from 3 to 6 p.m. at MYO locations.
Locations: This California chain has five locations.
4. Orange Leaf
Get a free small cup of frozen yogurt with the purchase of any size cup in stores all day today. At weigh-and-pay locations, this offer is instead good for up to 6 ounces of frozen yogurt for free with the purchase of at least 6 ounces. A coupon for this offer is available on Orange Leaf’s website.

While this chain had yet to reveal the details of its deal for today as of late Wednesday, the International Frozen Yogurt Association reports that it will be a buy one, get one free (BOGO) offer for Pinkcard members.
