Santa’s gone back to the North Pole for another year. But on Monday, you can enjoy one last sprinkle of holiday shopping magic thanks to Ebates.

Today only, get three times as much cash back as you normally would simply by using the cash-back portal to shop at any of more than 100 retailers.

Some retailers are offering even bigger savings. For example, Ulta Beauty — which normally returns 3 percent of your cash back on purchases through Ebates — is offering 10 percent in returned savings.

Saks Off 5th is also offering 10 percent cash back. That’s about five times the retailer’s normal cash-back rate of 2 percent, Ebates says.

Some of the major retailers participating in this promotion — and the cash-back rates they are offering Monday — include:

  • American Eagle — 6 percent
  • Athleta — 8 percent
  • Barney’s New York — 9 percent
  • Coach — 12 percent
  • eBags — 15 percent
  • Estee Lauder — 9 percent
  • Groupon — 9 percent
  • IT Cosmetics –12 percent
  • JCPenney — 9 percent
  • Kohl’s — 9 percent
  • Levi’s — 7.5 percent
  • Old Navy — 6 percent
  • Reebok — 6 percent
  • Saks Off 5th — 10 percent
  • Ulta Beauty — 10 percent

How it works

Ebates is a cash-back portal. So, by doing your online shopping through its website, you’ll earn cash back — during this promotion and in the future — on purchases from any of more than 2,000 retailers that partner with Ebates.

How is that possible? It’s simple. Ebates receives a commission from retailers for referring online shoppers to those retailers’ websites. Then, Ebates shares that commission with shoppers.

It’s free to sign up for an Ebates account, and it’s free to use the portal.

Ebates is among the oldest and best-known cash-back portals, but it’s not the only one. Others include TopCashback and Swagbucks Shop.

Even if you already have an Ebates account, you might want to check out other cash-back portals because different portals often offer different cash-back percentages for a given retailer.
