Spring is in the air, and new freebies are blooming everywhere. This month, you can get everything from free ice cream to gratis shredding of your documents.

Following are nine amazing freebies you can grab in April.

Free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cone — April 10

April 10 is Free Cone Day, and Ben & Jerry’s will celebrate by offering a free cone between noon and 8 p.m.

Free Google Play music for 4 months — ongoing

Put a little music into your spring and summer with four free months of music on Google Play. Once the trial ends, you can either cancel your membership or continue for $9.99 per month.

Free entrance to national parks — April 21

The National Park Service is granting free admission to parks on four days throughout the year — and one of them is April 21.

Admission will be free that day as part of National Park Week. The National Park Service comprises 417 places, most of which do not charge entrance fees at any time. The 118 places that do charge admission will waive that cost on April 21.

Free $40 gift card when you test drive a Hyundai — ongoing

Take a Hyundai out for a test spin at a local dealership, and you’ll get a free $40 Amazon, Target or Hyundai gift card.

Free 2-day shipping at Target — ongoing

Free chance to send your name to the sun — through April 27

Fill out a form at the official website of NASA’s Parker Solar Probe and you can send your name into space. Submissions are due by April 27 if you want to have your name included in a memory card that will travel to the sun.

Possible free check for $100 from Valpak — ongoing

The next time you get a fat envelope of free coupons in the mail, take a second look at it. Each month, Valpak sends out free coupons to 39 million people. A few lucky recipients also get a free check for $100.

Free shredding at Office Depot — through April 28

Tax season soon will end, and it’s likely to leave you with reams of documents that need shredding. Before you do that, make sure you keep digital copies of your documents. Then, head over to Office Depot with a coupon from the retailer’s website, and you can shred up to 5 pounds of paper for free. The offer ends April 28.
