These days, it’s not always desirable to stick with a “traditional” 9-to-5 job. And, thanks to technology, in some fields it’s not necessary to come in during set office hours.

Flexible jobs are becoming increasingly common, providing workers with the chance to create a schedule that works better for them, to freelance or to work remotely.

FlexJobs analyzed more than 52,000 companies, looking at their job posting histories in the FlexJobs database in 2019, between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31. Because of these companies’ hiring histories, FlexJobs believes they will likely continue recruiting for flexible positions.

Flexible jobs these employers might offer include remote and freelance (contract) jobs as well as jobs with flexible-schedule options.

Here are FlexJobs’ top employers for flexible jobs in 2020.

This company has been around for more than two decades, offering recruitment services in the life sciences and in the public sector.
