Today's Deals: Barbies, Mattresses, and a Free Xbox

I subscribe to the promotional emails of hundreds of companies so you don’t have to. I sift through 1,000 deal-touting emails every week. Most are worthless. But some offer valuable coupons, promo codes, sales, and freebies – which I collect and organize here and on our deals page.

Note: Expiration dates are in brackets.

Holidays and parties

  • Party City: 20 percent off your entire purchase in stores (print first) and online (use code PCFBND) [5/21].

Home

Pets

  • Pet Supermarket: $2 off a $10-plus purchase in stores (print first) and online (use code 2off10email) [5/31]. You don’t have to fill out the form on the right to use the coupon on the left – just print it out or apply the code.

Technology

  • Free 4GB Xbox 360: With the purchase of select HP desktop or laptop computers priced at $700-plus [9/8]. The Xbox 360 is a $200 value.
  • 60-inch 3D HDTV (Sharp Quattron): $850 off at Amazon.com [expiration unknown]. Instead of $2,800, it’s $1,950.
  • 16GB thumb drive (Kingston): 72 percent off at Buy.com [expiration unknown]. Instead of $39, it’s $10 – and shipping is free. Just note that this is a USB 2.0 model even though they call it “Generation 3″ and “G3.” Still, that price is as low as I’ve seen.

Toys

  • Barbie dolls: Buy-two-get-one-free at Toys R Us stores and online [5/26].
  • Inflatable kickboard and life vest (Floaties): 40 percent off at Amazon.com [expiration unknown]. Instead of $25, the set is $15 – and it comes with a lifetime guarantee.

Clothing, shoes, and accessories

  • Clothing (for the whole family): Additional 20 percent off select brands at Amazon.com (use code FASHION3) [expiration unknown].
  • Kohl’s (department store): Gold star clearance items are now 60 to 80 percent off [expiration unknown].
