It’s time to update your Apple devices. The technology giant recently released iOS 10.3 — the latest version of the Apple operating system.

Here are three compelling reasons to update your iPhone, iPad and Mac to iOS 10.3 today:

  • Missing earbuds: If you have AirPods, Apple’s new Bluetooth earbuds, don’t hesitate to update your phone. CNBC reports that the new operating system allows iPhone users with misplaced AirPods to use the Find My iPhone app to play a sound on the AirPods designed to help people locate their missing earbuds.
  • Use Siri to schedule transportation: If you want to schedule a ride time for an Uber or Lyft car, Siri can now help. According to CNBC, all you have to do is tell Siri: “Siri, book me a ride with Uber please.” Go through a couple more steps regarding the pickup time and location, and you’re set.
  • Your phone will seem faster: According to The Verge, Apple engineer Renaud Lienhart says that after you update to iOS 10.3, you may notice that your phone feels “snappier.” Lienhart explains on Twitter: “Many animations were slightly tweaked and shortened, for the better.”

The iOS 10.3 update can be downloaded from the settings app of your iPhone. You can read more about the Apple update by checking out the Apple website.

And remember, it’s important to back up your phone before you update it. That way, if something goes wrong during the update, your files will be safe.
