Haagen-Dazs’ free cone day is upon us.

The ice cream store chain will give you a free kiddie scoop from 4 to 8 p.m. local time Tuesday, May 10.

A spokesperson tells Money Talks News that you can choose from:

  • Ice cream
  • Sorbet
  • Gelato

You can order the freebie in your choice of a:

  • Cup
  • Sugar cone
  • Cake cone

Haagen-Dazs’ free cone day is the company’s way of both giving back to customers and welcoming summer, according to a news release.

Adam Hanson, Haagen-Dazs Shoppe Co. president and general manager, notes:

“Last year, we served 315,000 scoops on Free Cone Day and this year we are excited to help even more people leave the dreary days of winter behind and take a moment to enjoy Häagen-Dazs’ simple and pure ingredients.”

This offer is valid at participating U.S. stores, so you might want to call ahead to your local store to confirm it’s participating before you drive there. You can look up your nearest location at haagendazs.us/shops.
