Wednesday Deals: Camcorders, Pet Supplies, and Free Subway

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! If you’ve never heard of this holiday, you may know it by its less politically correct name: Secretaries Day. But you can save either way.

To impress your coworkers with a free breakfast or lunch, stop by Subway between 7 and 9 a.m. To promote their new breakfast sandwiches, Subway made all 6-inch Subway sandwiches buy-one-get-one-free. You don’t need a coupon or code, so you can cash in on this deal today, Thursday and Friday, when it expires at 9 a.m..

If you didn’t get a chance to use last week’s versions before they expired – or even if you did – here are another four Sweet Tomatoes coupons [expire Thursday, April 28]. And to top things off, tonight is 31-cent scoop night at Baskin-Robbins‘ participating stores [valid today, April 27, from 5 to 10 p.m. only].

In the clothing department, there are still lots of deals to be found as stores continue to clear out their spring styles to make room for summer clothes. Ladies and gents can take an extra 30 percent off J. Crew’s sale items with code OURTREAT, which is good online or in non-outlet stores [expires Thursday, April 28]. Pacific Sunwear clothing and accessories are up to 50 percent off.

Ladies can also snag full-price Loft knit tops for 40 percent off. This deal is good online and in stores, but if you shop online, note that the prices you see at first are the full prices. You’ll see the sale price once you put a top in your e-shopping bag. If it’s your children who are in need of new clothing, it’s available for as little as $4.99 while The Children’s Place’s spring clearance blowout sale lasts.

Just in time for next week’s Mother’s Day and National Teacher Appreciation Day holidays, everything is buy-two-get-one-free and buy-three-get-two-free at TheBodyShop.com. If your pet is a mother (or just in need of a new toy), everything is 20 percent off at Petco.com, although the fine print says food and litter are only 10 percent off [expires today, April 27].

If Fido has trampled your grass, be sure to snag this coupon for $5 off Scotts Turf Builder EZ Seed while you can. Note that your address is not required, only your ZIP Code and email address – and we don’t suggest giving any more info than is required.

Lastly, at TigerDirect.com, they’re selling the JVC Piscio pocket HD camcorder for just $79.99 – that’s less than half the MSRP [expires today, April 27].

As always, stop by our Deals page 24/7 for even more bargains and leave a comment if you find one we missed.

Comments & discussion

We welcome your opinions, but let’s keep it civil. Like many businesses, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. In our case, that means those who communicate by name-calling, racism, using words designed to hurt others or generally acting like an uninformed bully. Also, comments that include links to email addresses or commercial websites typically aren't posted. This isn't a place to advertise your business.

While you show many deals which do indeed save, these out of date coupons are of no use at all.

      Hi Ellen,

These deals posts are published every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning now. Each posts has coupons that are good for at least 24-48 hours after publication. I see you commented on a Sunday, at which time the post from Friday (May 1), not Wednesday, would have had the most recent deals.

If possible, I suggest stopping by the site on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings or as soon thereafter as you can.

      Thanks.
