Who's Postponing Halloween for Sandy
Halloween parades, parties, and trick-or-treating are being postponed or cancelled in many storm-swept towns, especially in New Jersey. Check on yours before heading out.
Philadelphia’s CBS affiliate has posted a partial list of areas cancelling or postponing Halloween celebrations. Many are pushing it back to Nov. 2 or later…
- Pine Hill, NJ schools are closed tomorrow, and Halloween activities in the school and borough are postponed until Friday, Nov. 2nd.
- Evesham, NJ has moved Halloween to Friday, Nov. 2 from 4 – 8 p.m.
- Collingswood, NJ announced on its Facebook page that Halloween trick-or-treating has been postponed until Saturday, Nov. 3 from noon to 4 p.m.
- Salem City, NJ has moved trick-or-treating to Friday, Nov. 2.
- Maple Shade, NJ has postponed Halloween until Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
