Shoppers who hold World and World Elite MasterCard plastic are enjoying new benefits starting this month.

MasterCard announced that the perks are effective as of April 1. All apply to both World and World Elite customers unless noted.

Following is a list of the new perks.

ShopRunner: Free membership

Cardholders receive a free ShopRunner membership. Normally, this costs $79 per year.

ShopRunner provides free two-day shipping and free returns from more than 100 retailers, as we detail in “8 Ways to Land Free Shipping for Online Purchases.”

HelloFresh: 5% cash back

Cardholders get 5% back on every HelloFresh purchase. The rewards can be used toward future orders from HelloFresh, which is a meal delivery service.

New HelloFresh customers also get a discount on their first few orders.

DoorDash: Free 3-month membership

Cardholders who are new to DashPass get a free three-month trial membership. New and existing DashPass members get a $5 discount on their first two orders each month when they pay with a World or World Elite card.

DashPass is DoorDash’s subscription program offering unlimited free delivery fees and reduced service fees from thousands of restaurants, grocery stores and convenience stores on orders of more than $12.

Lyft: $5 credit for every 3 rides

Cardholders earn a $5 credit for every three rides they take in a calendar month. The credit is automatically applied to the next ride and can be used once monthly.

Fandango: $5 reward for every $20 spent

World Elite (but not World) cardholders get a $5 Fandango reward good for future Fandango purchases when they spend $20 on digital movie rentals or movie ticket purchases.

‘Priceless Experiences’

All consumer credit cardholders now have access to more of what MasterCard calls “Priceless Experiences.” These activities, such as art tours and culinary lessons, are open exclusively to MasterCard holders as part of the company’s Priceless Cities program. They are available online and in certain cities across the globe.

You can view and book Priceless Experiences on the Priceless Cities website.
