Before you buy a home, it’s important to make sure there aren’t any liens or claims on your dream property. Title insurance is the key to having such peace of mind.

If you purchase a house with a mortgage, the lender will require you to buy title insurance. If you are buying the property in cash, however, you could decide to skip this coverage. But saving a few bucks today by not buying title insurance can be a recipe for disaster tomorrow.
