TripAdvisor just announced the winners of its Travelers’ Choice for Hotels awards — all 7,612 of them.

Now in their 15th year, the awards recognize the best hotels across 109 countries, as determined by travelers.

In other words, the winners are chosen based on millions of reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor users.

The honor of Top Hotel: World went to Aria Hotel Budapest in Budapest, Hungary.

If Hungary is too far away for you, consider the Nantucket Hotel & Resort, which took the title of Top Hotel: United States.

TripAdvisor describes it as “the island’s premier grand and historic hotel, originally built in 1891 and completely renovated in 2012.”

The travel planning and booking site continues:

“While the exterior is classic Nantucket, the interior meets the needs of today’s travelers, along with resort services. The family-owned hotel has luxurious guest rooms, and travelers can enjoy the beautiful Breeze Restaurant, signature on-site yoga and fitness classes, two heated swimming pools, shuttle transportation and children’s activities.”

The top 10 U.S. hotels in that category are:

  1. The Nantucket Hotel & Resort, Nantucket, Massachusetts
  2. The Charmant Hotel, La Crosse, Wisconsin
  3. The Oxford Hotel, Bend, Oregon
  4. Stephanie Inn, Cannon Beach, Oregon
  5. The Inn at Lost Creek, Telluride, Colorado
  6. French Quarter Inn, Charleston, South Carolina
  7. Icona Diamond Beach, Lower Township, New Jersey
  8. Rusty Parrot Lodge, Jackson, Wyoming
  9. Ambassador Hotel Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma
  10. Hotel Emma, San Antonio, Texas

The “Top Hotel” category is one of eight in the Travelers’ Choice for Hotels awards this year.
