With the economy in crisis, and no end in sight, many of us are searching for ways to tighten our belts — especially where it comes to regular monthly bills. If you’re looking for savings on your cellphone plan or need a new phone, check out the deals these five carriers are dangling to lure new customers. See which one meets your needs and budget.

Trade-in deal on iPhone 11 from Verizon

Currently, with Verizon, you can purchase a brand-new iPhone 64GB with an eligible trade-in device and save up to $550, making your device payment less than $7 per month (over 24 months). On top of that, you can get a $150 prepaid Mastercard just for switching to Verizon on any of their unlimited cellphone plans.

Through the coronavirus pandemic, Verizon is waiving activation fees for new lines and upgrades.

Discounted iPhone SE from Sprint

In a time when the majority of the country is looking for ways to save money, the last thing you might expect is a new iPhone launch from Apple, which, let’s be honest, isn’t exactly known as a budget-friendly brand. The new iPhone SE, however, makes perfect sense for the current climate. This is iPhone’s second SE model, offering flagship technical specs in a compact form and midlevel price. With Sprint, you can save on the already budget-friendly phone, leasing the iPhone SE (2020) for just $5 per month. Plus, you can get a $100 prepaid Mastercard for switching to Sprint and bringing your old number.

Sprint is waiving activation fees and offering free next-day shipping on all orders during the coronavirus pandemic.

Discounted iPhone SE from AT&T

Sprint isn’t the only major carrier offering a great deal on the new iPhone SE. You can get this great device on AT&T’s excellent LTE network (second only to Verizon), for just $5 per month over a 30-month payment plan. Plus, get a $150 Visa gift card when switching to one of AT&T’s unlimited plans.

AT&T is offering customers their Ready to Go same-day delivery service free (where available) during the pandemic.

New plan from Boost Mobile

As more people continue to cut their monthly expenses during these trying times, Boost Mobile has unveiled a new budget cellphone plan. For just $30 per month, the plan includes unlimited talk and text, plus 2GB of data. For a limited time, customers can get this already low-cost plan for 50% off.

T-Mobile unlimited data

T-Mobile is currently offering unlimited data on all cellphone plans that already include any amount of data.

Oh, and we aren’t finished talking about that new iPhone SE quite yet. T-Mobile is offering one of the best deals on the phone. Sign up with T-Mobile on a new plan, and trade in your eligible old device and get the new iPhone SE for free.

T-Mobile is also offering free shipping through at least May 13.
