National Pretzel Day is almost here. To help you celebrate on Wednesday, we’ve identified offers for free or discounted pretzels from five national or regional chains, detailed below.

Click on a chain’s name to search for locations near you. Then, as always, consider calling ahead to confirm your nearest location is participating in a freebie or deal.

Auntie Anne’s

If you download this chain’s “My Pretzel Perks” app, you can choose between a free Original Pretzel or free Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel, redeemable from Wednesday through April 30. The app is available for Android and Apple mobile devices. Just note that you must download the app before National Pretzel Day ends to nab this freebie.

Auntie Anne’s also notes that “My Pretzel Perk” members earn 10 points for every $1 they spend at any location, and points can be redeemed for free food. Members also get a free pretzel on their birthdays.

Ben’s Soft Pretzels

If you donate at least $1 to the nonprofit Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, you’ll get one free Jumbo Soft Pretzel. The promotion lasts from 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Philly Pretzel Factory

Grab one free pretzel — at any location — on Wednesday. No purchase is necessary.

If you’re one of the first 100 customers through the door, you’ll also be able to grab a free pretzel every day in May.

Say “happy birthday” — the chain is celebrating its 26th — and you can score a salted or unsalted soft pretzel for 26 cents on Wednesday.

Note that a handy list of participating locations is available online.

Wetzel’s Pretzels

Grab one free Original Pretzel from open to close on April 26, which is known as “National Wetzel Day” at this chain.

If you download the company’s app, you’ll score another free Original Pretzel, redeemable from April 27 through May 1. The app is available for Android and Apple mobile devices.
