Consumers who recently purchased major appliances give one brand especially high marks in nearly every category, according to J.D. Power’s 2021 Appliance Satisfaction Study.
The study evaluated customer satisfaction with 11 types of major appliances for the laundry room and kitchen. Samsung swept the laundry appliance categories, ranking highest in all three, and took the top spot in six of eight kitchen appliance categories.
In the other two categories, LG took the top spot and Samsung came in second.
The 2021 rankings are based on customer satisfaction scores, which were determined based on evaluations from more than 21,000 people who had purchased home appliances in the prior year.
