A new product from Costco’s beloved house brand, Kirkland Signature, is rolling out.

Kirkland Signature Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks have been spotted on Costco store shelves in Iowa, Michigan, Texas, Florida and Connecticut this month, according to social media reports.

Sharp-eyed observers have noticed that the name of the product is similar to another item sold at Costco: Just Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks.

Like the new Kirkland Signature product, the Just Bare item consists of boneless and skinless chicken and comes in a 4-pound bag. In fact, some people say the new Kirkland product tastes like the Just Bare product. However, others disagree.

Money Talks News tried to get to the bottom of the mystery regarding this new item. However, a Costco spokesperson politely declined to comment, noting that “Costco does not share data on any item or category.”

So, if the new Kirkland Signature item has piqued your interest, you will have to drive to your local Costco and see for yourself whether it is available, or perhaps they’ll tell you over the phone.

Costco members generally give high marks to the vast majority of Kirkland Signature items. But some products might come up a bit short. For more, check out “7 Kirkland Signature Items To Avoid at Costco.”
