From around-the-clock hours to free pickup, two national retailers are catering to procrastinators this year.

Kohl’s and Walmart each announced today that they will offer special promotions and free services for last-minute shoppers.

Kohl’s

You’ll receive $10 in Kohl’s Cash for every $50 you spend from now through Dec. 24. To learn more about this type of coupon, check out “10 Expert Tips for Saving More at Kohl’s.”

Kohl’s will also offer “Super Saturday Savings” in stores and at Kohls.com on Saturday, Dec. 17.

Here is one example of the “exclusive one-day deals” you can expect: Save 67 percent on Brilliance jewelry made with Swarovski crystals or Swarovski zirconia. Check out Kohl’s announcement for a list of other examples.

Kohl’s will remain open 24/7 from Dec. 20 through Dec. 24. Hours might vary at some locations, though, so check with your local store before heading there.

Walmart

Walmart announced that it’s making it possible for you to shop online as late as Dec. 23 and still be able to pick up your order in stores on Christmas Eve for free. That spares you the added cost of rushed shipping.

As long as you place your online order by 6 p.m. local time on Dec. 23, you’ll be able to pick it up at your local store by 6 p.m. Dec. 24.

Just don’t wait until the last minute to pick up your gift, as stores will close at 6 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve. That is two hours earlier than in years past.
