Over 1 Million Rams Are Being Recalled. See the Affected Model

FCA US is recalling more than one million vehicles due to improperly installed seat buckle anchors, federal officials say.

According to a recall notice posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an issue in the second row could prevent occupants from adequately restraining themselves inside the vehicle, raising the risk of injury during a collision.

The safety recall report also notes that it could impact occupants “in certain types of driving conditions.”

According to the NHTSA, 1,271,294 vehicles are included in this recall, which is for the following model:

• 2019-2026 Ram 1500

The recall number is 67D.

Owners are advised to take their vehicle to the dealership, where technicians will “attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure,” the NHTSA says. The service is available at no cost.
