
It doesn’t have to be hard to find a car that’s quiet, regardless of your ideal style.
U.S. News & World Report released its list of the Quietest Cars, SUVs and Trucks in 2024. When determining the rankings, U.S. News looked at which sedans, SUVs, and hybrid and electric cars have “hushed cabins and refined rides.”
Many of the vehicles they named, however, were luxury vehicles. To highlight more affordable options, our list includes those that have a starting retail price below $75,000. The following are the top-rated vehicles, from most to least expensive.
1. Genesis Electrified G80

Model year recognized for quietness: 2024
Starting price for the base model: $74,375
The G80 has an EPA-estimated 282-mile range. It can charge from 10% to 80% in about 22 minutes, according to Genesis, using a 350kW/800V DC Ultra-Fast Charger. The brand also teamed up with Electrify America to provide three years of complimentary 30-minute DC charging sessions to Electrified G80 owners.
2. Lucid Air

Model year recognized for quietness: 2024
Starting price for the base model: $69,900
U.S. News & World Report says the Lucid Air has a “nearly soundless acceleration.” Without the sounds of traffic bleeding in, you can enjoy the 21-speaker audio system. This electric vehicle also has an estimated EPA range of up to 516 miles.
3. Rivian R1T

Model year recognized for quietness: 2024
Starting price for the base model: $69,900
The Rivian R1T’s “well-built cabin” and “more refined on-road driving manners” are a couple of factors behind its quieter ride. But its quiet interior doesn’t mean this truck is delicate. It can drive through more than 3 feet of water, rock crawl a 100% grade and tow up to 11,000 pounds.
4. Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

Model year recognized for quietness: 2024
Starting price for the base model: $53,620
This minivan has an estimated total range of up to 520 miles and an estimated all-electric 32-mile driving range on one charge. While enjoying the quiet ride, you can also keep an eye on your passengers with the “FamCAM.” The digital display has a split-view screen option to monitor the backseat passengers, even the ones in rear-facing child seats.
5. Buick Enclave

Model year recognized for quietness: 2024
Starting price for the base model: $43,900
The Buick Enclave comes with acoustic laminated glass, triple-sealed doors and hydrating engine bushings as part of its “QuietTuning technology.” Its standard technology also includes wireless phone charging and a hotspot.
6. Ram 1500

Model year recognized for quietness: 2025
Starting price for the base model: $40,275
According to U.S. News & World Report, “Among full-size pickup trucks, none offer a cabin as quiet and comfortable as the Ram 1500’s.”
It comes with a lifted suspension and front and rear performance-tuned shock absorbers. The RAM 1500 operates under five different drive modes: Normal, Tow, Snow, Sport and Off-Road.
7. Kia Telluride

Model year recognized for quietness: 2024
Starting price for the base model: $36,190
The Kia Telluride also was recognized by U.S. News as one of the 2024 Best Cars for Families. It can seat up to eight passengers and has safety features like nine airbags with second-row outboard seat-mounted airbags and a stiffened body structure.
8. Honda Accord Hybrid

Model year recognized for quietness: 2024
Starting price for the base model: $27,895
The Honda Accord Hybrid was also recognized by Car and Driver as one of the top 10 best cars in 2024 and 2023. It combines two electric motors with a four-cylinder engine for 204 horsepower. Buyers get complimentary maintenance for two years, or 24,000 miles, including oil changes and tire rotation.
