Shopping at Target may cost less this holiday season. On Sept. 29, the retailer said it is cutting prices on select home items, apparel and accessories, building on more than 10,000 items whose prices it lowered over the past year.
What Items Are Getting Cheaper?
Target said select women’s, men’s, infant and toddler apparel and shoes are included, along with an assortment of bedding. Examples of reduced prices include:
- Women’s long-sleeve tees: $12, down from $15
- Women’s shoes: an average of $35, compared with $40
- Kids’ rain and winter boots: down 15% from last year
- Threshold queen comforters: $69, down from $89
- Threshold performance queen sheets: $50, down from $55
- Room Essentials queen comforters: $40, down from $50

When Do the Price Cuts Start?
The price reductions took effect Sept. 29.
Target Circle Deal Days Are Oct. 6 and 7
Target Circle members can get up to 40% off select apparel, shoes, handbags and wallets, sports fan merchandise, Halloween costumes and decor, Christmas decor and lights, laptops, floor-care items, storage and organization products, and toys during the two-day event.
Members can also get up to 30% off select Hearth & Hand items, Threshold furniture, skin care and cosmetics, hair-care products and tools, and baby home gear, according to Target. New Target Circle members can get up to 15% off one shopping trip through Oct. 5.
